Telegram has a cloud service that stores messages, photos, videos, and documents. You can access your data from any of your devices anytime without having to rely on third-party backups. However, Telegram only uses this encryption in calls and in its “secret chats” feature, not in regular chats. Those are only encrypted client to server. These chats are meant to be short-lived and not stored on Telegram’s servers.
Telegram offers plenty of options for customization to make the app feel like a truly personal experience.
